⚠️⛈️ Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast to develop Saturday afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe, with damaging wind gusts being the main threat.

While the storms will bring some much needed rain to the area, too much rain too quickly could result in localized flash flooding. Ahead of the storms, it will be another very warm and humid day with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Remain alert for changing weather conditions on Saturday, and seek shelter indoors if a thunderstorm threatens your area. And remember, never drive through flooded roads!

⚠️⛈️ Potentially significant flash flooding is possible this afternoon into tonight. A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire area. Some isolated severe storms are possible as well. Please heed any warnings issued today. NEVER drive through flooded roads!

Widespread storms will develop Thursday afternoon and continue through the night. Isolated wind damage is possible in the afternoon and early evening hours. We are becoming increasingly concerned about flash flooding potential with this activity, particularly across the Moderate Risk area.

There is increasing confidence in a highly localized area of heavy rain (as much as 4-6 inches) along the I-95 corridor from around Philly to Trenton this afternoon/evening. While not everybody in this area will experience that rainfall, those that do can expect flash flooding.

Make sure to have a way to receive any warnings that are issued, and follow them closely.
