Resolution Rentals is now Lightbulb Rentals
We've grown so much, especially this past year, and it's time to take a step to the next level. We've already put thousands of hours into prepping our shops to give our customers the absolute best rental experience.

Renting has been simplified, our gear maintenance is at a new level, our shelves are stocked, and our Philadelphia studio is bustling. Everything that has made Lightbulb Brooklyn's favorite rental shop has already been incorporated into our Philadelphia and Pittsburgh locations.

We cant wait to show you how much we've improved

were awesome enough to bring in their new Full Frame Vartol zoom set (30-95mm & 85-215mm) for us to test out.

These lenses are an updated version of the original Cooke Varotal 20-100mm T3.1, which we carry in our inventory. The classic Varotal was a favorite of Kubrick's as it was used on The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, and Barry Lyndon.

The new Vartol set is, of course, outstanding and may be added to our inventory when they're more widely available.

The images Andres captures using our C20 cinema robot leave us stunned every time we see them.

We hope everyone had a happy and, most importantly, safe holiday! An enormous thanks to everyone who came out to our Holiday party as well

Our Cooke Optics Anamorphic/i Full Frame Plus set is in, and these are immediately our new favorite lenses.

Our set includes 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 135mm focal lengths.

Coverage circle covers a full 24 x 36 still size sensor with 1.8 squeeze - the perfect sweet spot for anamorphic lenses

These lenses are equipped with /I Technology for frame-by-frame digital information capture.

The Anamorphic/i series is optimized for film and digital film cameras, reducing lateral color aberration and providing an organic bokeh look. Anamorphic/i lenses are designed to provide maximum performance at full aperture with superior control of flare, distortion, and spherical aberration. The optics feature a 2x squeeze factor for super35 formats in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio.

The Aputure 600D has been a pleasant surprise with its HMI comparable output from an LED unit. The new 600x Pro will take the power and versatility from the 600D and add on bi-color capabilities. We can't wait to get our hands on one.

The LS 600 has been Aputure's most powerful unit for a few years, but now it adds flexibility to the table.
