85% of people will get an HPV infection in their lifetime.

Despite this prevalence, traditional HPV campaigns have targeted parents urging them to vaccinate their children, leaving out a critical demographic—young sexually-active adults. HPV doesn’t discriminate. In fact, it can affect everybody.

To address this, Publicis Health Media and Digitas Health, as part of PHM’s for Good Initiative, teamed up with F**k Cancer on HPV F*cks Everybody, a provocative pro-bono multi-platform awareness campaign. This campaign seeks to educate adults aged 18-26 on the importance of HPV vaccination as a tool to take charge of their future. Through generous donations from media partners and creative teams, you may see HPV F*cks Everybody while swiping on a dating app, listening to your favorite podcast or shopping at your local mall.

Last year, PHM started a $10K endowment fund at Delaware State University, a Historically Black University in proximity to the Philly office. This year, we are adding to our list of endowment recipients, with the ultimate goal of creating a network of HCBUs in proximity to PHM office locations that receive endowments to support Black college students in media-related majors.

Our next $10K recipient is Morgan State University in Maryland, which is under two hours from Philly and three hours from New York City. We are thrilled to be able to empower Black students in their education and further work to uplift diverse voices in the media and healthcare industries.

During the pandemic, pharmacists have become more involved with patient counseling, immunizations and testing — and that has changed how medical marketing agencies reach pharmacists, according to PHM’s Vaishali Mokashi, SVP, Strategy and Planning.

“We wanted to capture healthcare professionals during their blue-jean moments, especially pharmacists and pharmacy assistants who tend to skew younger,” Mokashi says. “We are seeing receptivity shift toward digital. What clients were trying to do for 10 years, COVID did in 10 days.”
