Earlier today, the Corpus Christi Tritons shared a full release (now deleted) on the state of the team and addressed accusations on finances:

Breakdown:

- Team denies claims that it does not owe $6,000

- Team claims it does not owe many people or businesses, and that outstanding obligations are limited (can be counted on one hand)

- Acknowledge that three former players who did not finish the season are owed money

- Minority partner came in at a critical time and provided support for the team to finish the season

- “Prior to any work being performed, a significant lump sum was paid directly to Mr. Keith. Further payments were made directly to him, all of which are documented”

- They acknowledge mistakes were made and are making corrections to continue their vision to move forward
