Our mission is to inspire you to see the self-empowering value of science fiction through multi-media. We mainly use television series pilot episodes because they lend an advantage in the self discovery process of our own independence. Our long term vision as group will be to continue to work with endeavors that aim to place more actors and actresses living with disabilities on the view screen and
making sci-fi venues accessible. Because science fiction is so broad we are absolutely sure that through our communications, you will leave our meetings feeling more acknowledged, determined, and independent. Through our interactions we will determine how science fiction relates to those of us living with a disability which is the most important focus of this group. This is for those who both want to be empowered and those who like Sci-Fi and Fantasy, this group was started because its founder used the genre of books, shows, movies, etc., to help him overcome obstacles through his life showing him that being different from others wasn't so bad and in the end found he wasn't much different at all.
