We’re still “Doing Something New” while celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. ♥️♥️
So we got married in 1995 and we weren’t blessed with the camera acrobatics that we have now - all of our photos came from a 35 mm camera and someone forgot to turn on their flash, LOL - so the majority of our pictures are all really dark, chile 🫣. So we figured for our 30th let’s re-create “our” moment - so yeah we hired a professional photographer to capture this beautiful moment in life. She’s amazing. I’ll tag her information in this please check out her work. …
But we wanted to have something that would be memorable, displaying the commitment of the teamwork we put in AND to make sure our story is passed down for generations to come. Plus we can’t get over how 50 is the new 30 ~ because honey we look GOODT!!!!

OK, so continuing our journey on our “Do Something New” Anniversary celebration we went to , a rooftop restaurant in Phoenix at the . We were supposed to sit outside, we ended up being seated indoors (temps had dropped and I dont do cold🫣) but we were still able to have an outside view - I’d noted on the reservation that we were celebrating - so we were greated and served a few complementary items, one being a glass of champagne! I drank mine AND his (he’s not a drinker 😜 - in my Ms. Sophia voice “Fine wit me” ) …
overall really nice experience, but let me just say babyyyyy them were everythang!!!! Imma need to go get them again, and soon AMEN!

Next up in our “Do Something New” Anniversary celebration….we went to Potter’s Peak for a pottery wheel-throwing session. We each got to create four different pieces and had the option to purchase our favorites. If you’ve never tried it before, no worries—they guide you through the process step by step. Some of our pieces turned out great, while others… not so much! 😜😜😜😜
Theyre also a coffee shop with locally roasted coffee, pastries, waffles, and more. And yall know i normally dont venture too far from my homie sbux, but i really enjoyed their



But the best part was watching our creativity come to life and enjoying the experience together.

Meaning my first grandbaby is not so much a baby anymore (he already don’t wanna show affection, especially on camera, hence the look on his face)
