The COVID Party-Gate scandal continues to rear it's ugly head against Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Last week Johnson became the first ever UK PM to be charged with breaking the law. This week, lawmakers have approved an investigation into whether or not Johnson lied to parliament .

Many, even those in Boris' own Conservative party, have began pushing for Johnson's resignation. With war in Europe and economic catastrophe at home, the timing couldn't be worse.

Ukraine has carried out its first incursion and proper military strike on Russian soil. Carrying out a coordinated helicopter attack on a Rosneft oil depot roughly 21 miles (34 kms) passed the Russo-Ukrainian border.

The attack while in the eyes of many, is justified, considering Russia has sent more than 150,000 soldiers into Ukraine since the beginning of the war, the diplomatic timing is simply terrible. Potentially putting any hopes of successful peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in Jeopardy.
