We are thrilled to attend the Chandler Film Festival (First time in AZ) with our short film Abduction. Amazing work by the organizers—we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity!

سعيدين بالمشاركة في مهرجان تشاندلر السينمائي بفلمنا القصير الاختطاف في ولاية اريزونا والي يحاول حاليا تحقيق رقم جينيس لاكبر مهرجان سينمائي. هذا المهرجان هو اول عرض للفلم بولاية اريزونا الذي تم تصوير الفلم بها. نشكر المنظمين على هذا الحفل الرائع واتاحة الفرصة لنا للتحدث عن الفلم وكيف ان اصل قصته حقيقة.

: Big news! 🎥 The Arri 35 has showed us that Abduction is officially selected for one of Arizona’s film festivals! Super thrilled to see us heading to !

: Finally!! 🙌 This will definitely help us save on production and cast travel costs. I bet is relieved!

: Leave alone; he’s swamped with wedding planning! 💍 Let’s just celebrate this milestone and start prepping. I’ll send an email to the cast and crew to get them ready.

The collaborative synergy between a writer, director, producer, and cinematographer is crucial in transforming a creative vision into a tangible cinematic experience. Omar Hashem and Paul Winters exemplify this partnership, having worked together for two years. Omar Hashem, a film director, producer, and writer, has directed and produced several short films, including “Abduction” and “What’s Happening.”  Paul Winters, an American filmmaker and cinematographer, has an extensive background in directing, writing, and acting, with notable works such as “Dog Boy” and “Amber and Grace.” 

Their collaboration is highlighted in the short film “Abduction,” where Omar served as the director and producer, and Paul as the cinematographer.  Omar Hashem has expressed his appreciation for their teamwork, stating, “Whenever I struggle in finding an answer in producing, I call Patty. Whenever I build a vision for the shot and then change it, Paul will always have a way to make it happen and build both visions together.” This statement underscores the importance of effective communication and mutual respect in the filmmaking process, enabling the seamless integration of creative ideas into a cohesive visual narrative.
