What started as a simple act of obedience is becoming something more beautiful than I could have planned.

Our Rosh Hashanah Dinner: Sweet New Beginnings is coming together, and we officially have our private chef locked in for the evening! 🙌🏾🍎🍯

This won’t simply be dinner.

It will be a table intentionally prepared for fellowship, reflection, prayer, biblical tradition, beautiful food, and an atmosphere where we make room for God to meet us.

We’ll gather around the table, share the symbolic foods of Rosh Hashanah, reflect on the season ahead, and celebrate the sweetness of new beginnings together.

✨ PRIVATE CHEF / CATERER WANTED — EAST VALLEY, AZ ✨

I’m looking for a talented private chef or caterer for an intimate Rosh Hashanah Biblical Dining Experience for approximately 12 guests.

This will be an elevated, faith-centered evening designed around traditional Rosh Hashanah foods, symbolic elements, and a beautiful feast-style meal. My goal is to honor the significance of the celebration while creating an authentic and thoughtfully prepared dining experience.

I’m especially interested in someone who has experience with Jewish cuisine, kosher-style preparation, Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine, or biblical-inspired foods.

I’m literally on the couch minding my business and WORKING while this child comes downstairs, announces she’s going to put on her “Jesus music and do Bible study,” takes MY phone, props it up, finds the Books of the Bible song…and proceeds to choreograph an entire routine. 😭😂

Ma’am.

Meanwhile, Ms. Mommy is in the background answering emails like this is a completely normal work environment. 💻🤣

But this is actually one of my favorite things about our homeschool journey so far. Learning doesn’t always have to look like sitting at a desk with Mommy giving instructions. Sometimes she’s reading. Sometimes she’s in the garden. Sometimes we’re out exploring. And apparently sometimes Bible study is a full-blown dance rehearsal. 😂🙌🏾

She definitely needs her own phone though, because why do I keep discovering PRODUCTIONS in my camera roll that I did not authorize?! 😭

This morning I was reading Psalm 139:13–18, and it reminded me of something I sometimes forget…

I can look at a sunset and immediately marvel at God’s creativity. 🌅
I can look at flowers, mountains, oceans, the sky and think, “God, You really did that.” 🥹

But then Psalm 139 reminds me:

The Creator of all of that created me too.

He knit me together.
He knew me before I was born.
Every day of my life was already written in His book.
His thoughts toward me are more numerous than the grains of sand.

And His workmanship is marvelous.

That includes me.
And friend, that includes you too. ❤️

Sometimes we’re so quick to recognize the beauty in everything God created except ourselves.

Meanwhile, God is like… Have you SEEN My work?! 😂

And the fact that I’m literally sipping a mocktail in this video makes another Scripture feel incredibly appropriate:

“Taste and see that the Lord is good.” — Psalm 34:8 😂🙌🏾

Because apparently on this particular evening, I was doing both.

Tasting. Seeing. And enjoying the goodness of God. 🥹✨
