The Cote Photo director Adam Pillon and cinematographer Darren Clark sat down with WXYZ Detroit to talk about the documentary 55 years in the making.

The film follows the 1971 Lake Cote UFO photograph from a routine government mapping flight in Costa Rica to the Costa Rican national archive, where it sat for decades with an unbroken chain of custody.

It is the first time the photographer has spoken on-camera at length. Premieres September 4th on Amazon and Apple TV.
