Year number 4 and Northwest Terror Fest isn't just about the metal, it's about the city. The city that had the personality to bring this festival together (or continue it with a new breath), to have the community behind it and the passion for metal which of course are the people in that city and the ones who travel to it. The crew, the bands, the promoters, the sponsors and the headbangers. We have all gotten into this industry for one reason or another and we choose to stay in it sometimes for different ones. Maybe a fan becomes part of the industry while other industry people decide to hang it up to be strictly fans again. I've been on both sides of that fence and it's still hard to say what one I appreciate more. Thanks to you all and remember the ones before you, the current ones, the ones who are struggling, the ones who help those others out and the new generation that believe it or not, will teach us all a thing or two if you're open to it. The future can be bright. Even though we're all doomed in a sense, I'm hopeful.
And as I saved this as a draft and did not post immediately, that hope has already turned into the return of Southwest Terror Fest a few hours after I wrote this. Full circle appreciation, thank you
