Membership is open to all professionals, students and laypersons interested in wildlife research, management, education and administration. Our chapter works to maintain communication among wildlife professionals, encourage communication between those professiona

ls and the public, support continuing education through grants, hold workshops and regional meetings, encourage student involvement in the wildlife profession, and actively participate in shaping management and conservation policy through letters, public statements and resolutions.

All submissions are welcome, such as articles (from professionals, students, and public—preferably with photos!), meeting/event announcements, project updates, science communication, job announcements, volunteer opportunities, photographs (with credits), and anything else relevant to management and conservation of Arizona’s wildlife resources. AZTWS encourages submissions and supporting material from under-represented and marginalized groups to empower and elevate voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. AZTWS is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in Arizona’s wildlife profession and community.

The Student Development Working Group is facilitating the distribution of GiveBack Program Memberships to students who want to get a "trial" membership to TWS before making the full commitment.

Any existing member of TWS (student or professional) is eligible to donate a GiveBack Membership

Any student who is not yet a formal member of TWS, but wants to give it a shot, can also request to receive a GiveBack membership!

Volunteers are needed for a pond restoration project at White Mountain Grasslands Wildlife Area in eastern Arizona's White Mountains from June 1-21. Specific work days requiring the most help are June 5-7, June 12-14, and June 19-21. The project will benefit Chiricahua leopard frogs and other wildlife.
