The Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) Keeps Getting Better and Bigger!

The Citizens Movement for Change continues to grow from strength to strength as more Liberians from all walks of life unite under the banner of progress, integrity, and genuine national transformation.

We are honored to welcome one of Liberia’s finest sons — Honorable Sam Jackson, a veteran economist and political scientist — to the People’s Movement. Mr. Jackson brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and visionary leadership. Over the years, he has been one of the key minds shaping Liberia’s political and economic landscape, playing a vital role in introducing the multiparty democratic system we now enjoy.

His decision to join the CMC is not only a testament to the movement’s credibility and growing influence, but also a clear signal that Liberia’s brightest minds are ready to stand together for meaningful change.

The momentum continues to build — just this week alone, the CMC registered over three thousand new members, including some of the best and brightest professionals in our country. The Liberian people are clearly gravitating toward the CMC, inspired by our message of unity, accountability, and hope.

We extend a warm welcome to Hon. Sam Jackson and to all our new members. Together, we are building a movement that will redefine Liberia’s future.

Today, CMC political leader Hon. Musa Hassan Bility actively participated in a crucial fundraising event held in District #12, Montserrado County, a significant gathering aimed at supporting local development initiatives. The event was hosted by Hon. Jerry K Yorgbor, a prominent member of our party, to rally resources for ongoing district projects. Hon. Musa Hassan Bility pledged a generous contribution of $5,000 USD to aid in community development efforts. Additionally, he committed to donating 1,000 bags of cement, underscoring his strong commitment to infrastructural progress and partnership with local stakeholders to foster sustainable growth within the district.

Madam Sirleaf, your journey has been one of courage, vision, and resilience. You broke barriers where none thought possible, not just for Liberia, but for Africa and the world. As Africa’s first democratically elected female President, you redefined leadership with intellect, dignity, and purpose. You carried our nation through one of its most difficult chapters and helped restore Liberia’s place among the community of nations.

Your legacy lives not only in the institutions you rebuilt and the lives you touched, but in the inspiration you continue to provide to generations of women and men who dare to believe in a better Liberia. Today, we celebrate your strength, your wisdom, and your enduring love for this country.
