I came to Fatima’s Grill for the viral food... but meeting the owner, Ali, ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire experience.
His story is WILD. He spent 6 years in prison, came home, completely changed the direction of his life and turned Fatima’s Grill into the success it is today.
And after everything he’s accomplished, he was genuinely one of the sweetest, most humble people l’ve met.🫶🏽🥹
Now let’s talk about this FOODDDD : massive portions, crazy flavor!!

This is exactly why I love supporting family owned businesses. Good food is one thing, but good food with a story behind it?? I’m there.🍽️😋

Every detail felt intentional, every dish was beautifully executed, ad when my daughter got cold, Chef Nik took off her own chef coat so she could stay warm. It wasn’t for the camera, It wasn’t for content. It was simply who she is.
Phoenix, please show this Black woman-owned restaurant the love it deserves.👩🏾‍🍳❤️
