Heyyyyyyy! Want a quick and nasty Valentine’s Day read? I got you! Coming in hot with Knotted by the Incubus by Imani Jay! Gave this one a 4 ⭐️ because of some few spelling errors. The story starts with a Dream. Yeah imagine that the person you’ve been dreaming about for months isn’t just a figment of your imagination? We are introduced to our omega Destiny, the owner of the cute bakery in town who is just trying to find her soulmate that will match up to dream guy.

Then we have our grumpy Incubus Rahel. He’s in search of his mate. He so fixated on finding her that he has refused to feed to sustain himself. Till one night out with the boys sends both of these people crashing into each other’s lives.

This novella is a fast pace spicy 80+ paged adventure that I enjoyed. So if you are looking for a quickie 😏 this one may just be for you 😘 did i mention our FMC is Black 💋 #

Man this book took me through it let me tell you! Literally had me laughing, crying, and ready to throw the book at the wall.

Brief Summary: We are dropped in right as tragedy strikes for Marley, and watch as she attempts to pick up the pieces of her life. As Marley is attempting to find her own path through destruction, she runs into Detroit’s Bad Boy himself Czar. Czar is a Detroit Rapper who is in the prime of his career, but with fame and money comes jealousy and more problems. As Czar is starting to navigate his career, a undesirable blast from the past appears. When Czar and Marley’s worlds collide we see what a second chance at life and love can hold for these two. What’s a second love without its trials and tribulations?

Final Thoughts: Ladii Neshaaaa! You did your big one with this book. You had me rooting for each of them while also making wanna slap them around for their behavior 🤣. This was such a good read that had me all in my feelings and when it was all over l had to continue to see how the rest of their story went. I do I really need to say more? Go get into this book. You will not be disappointed!

You like fast pace spicy Novellas that lead to fast pace series? This one is for you!
Brief Discription: We are introduced to Percy and Mack as they are getting ready to film for their fans. They cosplay as COD characters but baby you won’t get these views in the game🤣. While filming they ask their fans who they would like to see added to their duo. Here Mar enters the chat as she is filming for her fans she sees that Percy and Mack have come to watch. And from here we get the fast pace, spice bomb, and prelude to the rest of the serie.

Final thoughts: I loved that there was a black girl female lead. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and is willing to do what needs to be done to protect herself and what is hers. Overall I enjoy my fast pace Novella. This book did not lack in spice and if you want fast pace this one will get you right! I do recommend reading this before starting the series that follows because Marfa/Mar is mentioned and plays a roll in how things transpire in the books to follow.

So I know that like many you’ve seen the ads for the new movie for The Housemaid right? Well let me tell you the read is definitely worth it!
Brief summary: We follow Millie as she is attempting to get her life back on track after losing her previous job. So she puts out an ad to be a house cleaner. Here enters Nina Wi******er our housewife who needed extra help around the house. Nina gives Millie an offer she can’t refuse and offers. When Millie accepts the job things begin to take a turn.
My Thoughts: This book was so good! I will say that I was not prepared for where we were going but was it a good read. I definitely want you guys to read the book for the full experience. The movie is cool but the book was everything 🤪. Get into the series like I have! I’m already listening to book 2 and let me tell you it is just as crazy as book 1!
