Say hi to Muppet! She’s a big, cuddly polar bear looking to spend her golden years in a loving home. Muppet is very calm and mellow and is hoping to find a place with the same kind of vibe.

Meet Muppet today at Arizona Animal Welfare League and thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation her adoption fee is FREE through December 15, 2025

Aye! It's lp, droppin' a cool story about the toxic twins!

Sweet talkin' mama with a face like a gent...

Did you sing that?

If so, you sang it wrong.

The actual line is, "...sweathog mama with a face like a gent." Ahhh, yes. Sweet Emotion, indeed.

That line is Steven Tyler taking a direct shot at Joe Perry's new wife, Elyssa Jerret. In fact, a lot of the lyrics on that song were aimed at her. Suffice to say, he didn't like her. Why? It's hard to pinpoint any one reason, but the entire band at that point was whacked out.
One night, Steven ventured into Joe's hotel room, looking for drugs. Elyssa would have none of that. She sent Tyler away empty handed, refusing to share. Given Tyler's frame of mind, that was probably enough.

Eventually, Elyssa would prove to be Aerosmith's Yoko; or so it would seem.

On July 28th, 1979, Aerosmith headlined the World Series of Rock at Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The show featured co-headliner, Ted Nugent, along with Journey, AC/DC, and Thin Lizzy also on the bill. Formidable.

After Aerosmith's set, an argument broke out in the Aerosmith camp. It ended with Elyssa dumping a glass of milk on the head of Terry Hamilton, Tom's wife. It also ended Joe Perry's tenure in Aerosmith.

A glass of milk ended Aerosmith?

Probably not. But it made for a good excuse.

After the '78 Draw The Line/Live Bootleg tour, Joe Perry owed the band over $80K in room service charges. It was a big deal. Aerosmith manager, David Krebs, suggested to Joe that he record a solo record to pay the debt, using the advances he would receive for the record. Causatory or not, that's exactly what happened.
From what I understand, they reunited a few years later. After Joe and Elyssa broke up.
