Supertramp announced today lead singer and band founder Rick Davies passed away over the weekend. His soulful vocals were unmistakable, and his writing credits include "Goodbye Stranger", "Breakfast in America" and "The Logical Song".

Rick Davies, founding member of Supertramp, has died, the group announced. The British rock band was known for hits like "The Logical Song."
