Janet Perlman, dba Southwest Indexing, has been serving the publishing community for more than 25 years, working on a variety of subject materials, with specialty in science and technology and Spanish-language materials. A long-time member of the American Society for Indexing, Janet has served as Treasurer, committee head, on the Board of Directors. She was awarded the ASI Theodore C. Hines Award

for Service in 2006. Janet has co-authored two books: "Running an Indexing Business" (ASI/Information Today Inc., 2001) and "Index it Right!: Advice from the Experts" (ASI/ITI, 2010). Her most recent book is "IndexingTactics and Tidbits: An A-Z Guide" (ASI/ITI, 2016).
