Oi oi seeing many new faces here, cheers for following along this journey & welcome my lovely jubblies!!
Let me introduce/ reintroduce myself with 10 things.

1. My full name is Afiniki but many people can’t pronounce it so I go by Afi or Afi Like Taffy!
2. My name was given to me by my grandmother which in my native language of Jukun, from my tribe in Nigeria means my all my only. I’m the only child from my parents who was born alone, all my full blood siblings are twins, 3 sets to be exact!
3. I’ve lived in 3 continents, Lagos Nigeria, London U.K & Arizona U.S.
4. I moved to the U.S for love.
5. My favorite hobby is reading saucy novels, I have since I was 12
6. I’m a big believer in giving & taking in conversations, if your not like that, your not my person.
7. It’s never too late to begin again, I freed myself from 10 years of corporate styling during the global pandemic to start my own styling consulting business Afi Like Taffy & it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
8. My favorite snack & drink are Cheetos puffs & guava mimosa’s it’s all in the nectar! And yes I will taste them together.
9. Vibrant Colors are my love language, in Africa we believe color reflects good energy, vibrancy, good vibes & life so I live fully with that.
10. My favorite mantras are Be brave, be bold but most importantly be yourself.

Who is she? How does she feel? Where is she going? Runway NYC Style showcase outfit 5: (see previous posts outfits for reference)🤗

Fun fact: I wanted to wear this exact outfit for the NYC style showcase event but it fit so well in my over- arching theme & collection so I let her wear it.😋

Meet the last but certainly not least Solene, an Executive Editor’s Assistant for high Fashion Magazine “Runway.” A self diagnosed people pleaser who works double time to please her unpleasing boss. Solene feels overlooked & underpaid but wouldn’t change her job for anything else in this world as she feels most alive immersed at the top of the fashion industry cheers to her boss, she’e got her finger right on the pulse. From Runway shows, photo shoots, fashion events, to media publications, couture closets etc, Solene loves experiencing it all.

Solene’s bold outfit choices reflects her demure appearance in this neon pink shoulder padded blazer, bold gold choker, floral printed jumpsuit, faux leather pink gloves, micro bag with a scarf tied on it & tan booties to finish the fit! She’s all dressed up in (which she borrowed from the Fashion closet) to sneak preview their Resort collection 2025 & she’s ecstatic as they’re her favorite brand!

Meet Landyn, the Editor in Chief of British Lifestyle Magazine “Horses & Hounds” who prefers horses to humans any day! An Equestrian since 5 years old who is a sworn vegetarian in public but eats all the meats in private!🥩😂

She got this job due to nepotism as her dad owns the magazine! She’s spoilt, entitled & disillusioned about life but works her arse off & expects the same from her colleagues!
Landyn is on her way to the Horses & Hounds magazine’s monthly executive luncheon which she detests as she’s always the only female in the room & is derogatorily looked down upon by the other males including her Father.

Landyn dresses more masculine/ feminine with the tanned waistcoat, tie & brown wide leg trousers, adding her feminine flair with a twist of the floral print on the tie, printed silk blouse & pop of pink in the metallic blazer & long Cruella style brown gloves. Finishing her fit with cheetah print pointed toe heels & as a sworn public vegetarian, she sometimes makes sacrifices for fashion.
