Dave Hates 808s is pulling up this Friday at Valley of the Beats Open Aux at Grand Ave Records, and it is already locked in.

All producer slots are filled, so if you waited, yeah… you missed that part.

But still pull up.

You never know how the night goes, and if we have extra time, we might open it up for a few more beats. No guarantees, but it has happened before.

Plus, this is bigger than just playing beats. This is where you meet producers, artists, and people who are actually active in the scene.

The room is going to be packed and the energy is there. Do not sit this one out just because you are not on the list.

Shout out to Santi .long for giving me the opportunity to play beats at the Disrespect events this past December. Spaces like this are important for music producers and beat makers to perform their sound live and connect with the community.

Much respect to Brother Maaz and Arnam for being part of the energy and helping make those nights memorable. Shout out to the freestylers .genetics91 and more. It’s Always good seeing the producer scene continue to grow. 🎛️🔥

Last March was a reminder that sometimes you just have to go for it.

Two Valley of the Beats shows with Indi Clouds.
One in Phoenix. One in Tucson.

The Valley of the Beats Podcast with Destiny Rose.

Pulling up to The Taste of Phoenix with Legal Beta and Olivia performing.

Attending the ASU Pop Music Conference.

And rehearsals happening in between all of it.

None of this came from waiting for the perfect plan. It came from moving.

Sometimes overthinking and overplanning can slow you down. The momentum comes when you start and figure the rest along the way.

March last year was a lot of motion.
