ALMA is proud to announce a new partnership with the Latino Media Collaborative (LMC). LMC is dedicated to building a resilient and interconnected Latino media ecosystem. Like ALMA,, the Latino Media Collaborative is dedicated to empowering communities through storytelling while working to strengthen the media sector itself.

Through this partnership, ALMA + LMC will bring our members additional opportunities for events, such as the "Dialogo Series" we co-hosted with Calo News Arizona (part of LMC), back in September. Our shared goal is to bring more events and opportunities that elevate Latino voices and issues while supporting our Latino media professionals.

Stay tuned for more collaboration and events in 2026! 🎊

The contributions of Latinos and Hispanics in Arizona cannot be understated. The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce released its yearly report this week with key figures that highlight not only the positive impact we have on the state's economy, but also the opportunity available in our state.

According to DATOS, Hispanics contribute $72 billion in purchasing power in AZ and Arizona's immigrant households contribute more than $11 billion in federal and state taxes. In Phoenix, 6% of all small businesses are Latina-owned, in Tucson, that number is doubled.

ALMA thanks the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for providing this important data, because information is power and a catalyst for change.
