When things get grim, get busy! Here are some spots in the Distro that show what we’re about and what we’ll continue to be about. If you want some encouragement, stop by the shop today to read and rest—we’re open until 6! (And always donate to to support their great work!!)

Are you ready to Trash the Fash?! This evening we will be bringing out all of our art supplies to provide space to create a group art project that will bring us together to destroy fash propaganda.

We will open extended hours today from 11 am - 8 pm to allow us to create and enjoy zines at the same time. Stop by anytime!

If you are stopping by, please bring your friends and also some cases of water and new coolers for local water distribution.

Get ready for DisMarket!! We're hosting two indoor markets at and .jam.print July 19 and August 16 from 6-9p! We're hosting 10 local creators at each market who identify as sick, disabled, mentally ill, and/or neurodivergent who make stickers, pottery, paintings, zines, fiber art goods, jewelry, and more! Please put these dates on your calendars and plan to stop by and support these creators!

It’s day 2 of International Zine Month 2025 and we’ll be celebrating all of July! Huge thanks goes to of for creating the IZM prompt list each year!

Today at WIZD, we’re celebrating by pulling out some old faves from our library and shop. How are you celebrating?

Zines! Zines! Zines! ✎ᝰ.

We will be at the Phoenix Art Museum’s Family Funday ( ) this Sunday hosting a mini zine make-and-take station inspired by the patterns of iconic designer Anna Sui! We’ll also be slinging zines to all who would like one. This Family Funday is on Sunday, June 29th, from 10-5p and is celebrating self expression in art! All of the events for this day are free to attend and participate in so bring the whole family and come hang out! ✎ᝰ

We also have a big big surprise for everyone that we will be revealing at Family Funday! ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆

Since our full team will be at the Phoenix Art Museum on Sunday June 29, we’ll be closed at the distro and will reopen Wendesday, July 2! See you at Family Funday!

‼️New Event‼️

Wasted Ink Zine Distro presents FREE Sequential Sundays with (comic and zine maker)! This is a bi-monthly meetup for comic creators and readers.

Our first one is on Sunday, July 20 from 1-2:30p at Wasted Ink, 323 W McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85003. Masks are required and provided!

➡️This is a chill hang, an escape hatch from the heat to a 3rd space...a space for comics, zines and all things sequential art! Just bring yourself and whatever comic you're into, your sketch/book of your "weirdo" comic you've been working on, or just your eyes.

AmyLou will have some of their own comics to share including their newest release "The Inheritance."
