No experience required! Bring your own supplies or use ours for a small donation. This is a casual drop-in group to start or work on relief carving and block printing. If you’re feeling some 90’s nostalgia, stop by and use our Minizinerama to purchase mini zines or stickers using good old fashioned quarters. **Make sure to bring your own change as we don’t have a whole lot in the distro! ｡𖦹°‧

Schools almost out and the temperatures in the valley are rising as we get closer to summertime! If you’re looking for a great way to stay busy with the kiddos this summer, zines are the best indoor activity around!

Whether you’re enjoying some of the zines created by kids for other kids or creating your own, zines are a great way to inspire creativity for the whole family.

We’re open today until 8:30pm for our monthly Type-In, stop in and check out some zines or type your heart away!

At WIZD, we're always celebrating birth, reproductive justice, and q***r families!

Our friend and accountant, Moli, sent us issues #0 and #1 of their zine "transsurrogate" for you to read in our library. These zines are a pregnancy memoir rooted in friendship and reproductive autonomy.

Inside, you'll find details of their experiences as a surrogate for their friends, beautiful artwork, and resources, stats, and works cited!

Come on by and read these great zines in our library! Thanks, Moli, for adding them to our library.

Today’s Zine Spotlight is “The Sights & Sounds of ‘69!” Created by our friends and studio mates !

This full size spiral bound zine contains 65 original collage Riso prints all designed, printed, and assembled by Vic at inside of .jam.print. 𖡎

Their process for creating these beautiful prints is that they composed collages from cutouts from issues of LIFE magazines spanning from the 1940s-1980s, LOOK magazines, The Workbasket, GENJII, and The Sphinx then printed using 10 different Riso inks! You can buy this and other Saturn Hex zines at now. ✎ᝰ.ᐟ⋆⑅˚₊

Saturn Hex hosts regular Intro and Advanced Riso Printing workshops and also often hosts open studios on First Fridays at .jam.print. They offer Riso printing, classes, guidance on printing processes, and also sell some of their own art and merch. Be sure to check out their website to schedule an appointment or start the process for printing!⌯⌲
