Can you tell how happy I am to find a plant-based protein powder that I really like? ☺️⁣

During my vegan journey it was hard finding a great tasting plant-based protein powder. I couldn’t tell if I was being picky or just was not fond of the taste. ⁣

I went through my fair share of protein powders that I just couldn’t get with and almost gave up on the idea and thought that they all probably just taste the same. ⁣

That wasn’t the case with ’s plant-based protein powder. It’s the perfect blend of vanilla and you can mix it either with water or my favorite way so far, with almond milk or your plant milk of choice. Not only is it perfect for protein shakes, but you can also mix it into foods. It also contains 19g protein, is easy to digest and is gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and nut-free. ⁣

It’s a great way to make sure you’re getting enough protein throughout the day especially if you want to reduce dairy consumption. I highly recommend checking this one out if you are in search of a plant-based protein powder. 🌱 ⁣

Have any of you tried this plant protein powder or are you in search of one? Definitely give this one a try ✨⁣

I’ve been taking Dialectical Behavioral therapy classes for a year now and mindfulness is one of my favorite practices in DBT I learned to incorporate in my daily routine. ⁣

I feel most peaceful when I’m able to practice mindfulness and really live in the moment, which can be really challenging when we’re all living in the age of social media. ⁣

As cliche as it sounds, traveling is one of the things that makes me so happy and where it’s easiest for me to truly be present. ⁣

There’s nothing like exploring new places, learning different cultures, immersing yourself in nature, beautiful landscapes and experiencing new things for the first time. ⁣

Best of all, it allows me to really be present, grounded and take everything in. ⁣

It’s always the right dose of serotonin I need 💜

I don’t find myself dressing up much these days, but when I do it sure feels nice 💜✨⁣

For someone like myself who battles with ongoing depression, did you know that dressing up can help release neurotransmitters in our brains including dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, and endorphins, sparking a sense of purpose. 🌈✨⁣
These chemicals naturally boost our mental state, which is necessary especially during tough times. ⁣

Thank you to for gifting me with this bomb jumpsuit, definitely my vibe. Now someone invite me somewhere so I can wear it 😌✨⁣

After wanting braces for so long I finally took the plunge and got them. I’m now into my 3rd week and I’m started to get used to having them in. ⁣

I received lots of questions of why I went with braces over Invisalign and the main reason is that I tried aligners in the past and hated the process of taking the alligners off and on to eat. ⁣

The process with braces has been really different than it was with aligners, as there are definitely way more limitations with braces but I’m still really happy with my decision. ⁣

I got these to correct the small gaps I had mainly in my lower teeth and my treatment isn’t too long so I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. ⁣

I’ve always been a shy girl in front of the camera and taking pictures isn’t usually my favorite thing to do, especially when others are taking them of me. ⁣

I love that when I shoot by myself I have the freedom to make mistakes, learn my angles, and play with different movements to see what works without feeling weird or judged by a photographer or others around. Being able to do this by myself and properly planning and producing the images that make me feel beautiful and seen have also really increased my confidence and helped me cope with anxiety and perfectionism, which can be crippling. ⁣

As someone with high functioning anxiety, I can assure you that you’re not alone. ⁣

Get creative, have fun with it ✨ @ New York, New York

Marley Twists Tutorial ✨⁣

I twisted my hair back up for the next couple of weeks to give myself a break. I have really short hair in the back, which can be difficult to install certain styles, but with the rubberband method I am able to keep them from slipping.⁣

𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:⁣

1. Part hair into sections ⁣
2. Take the desired square section and split it into two ⁣
3. Add the hair into the split section and use a rubberband to tie and then begin twisting ⁣
4. Dip the ends in hot water to seal them and keep them from unraveling. ⁣

If your hair is short or you are susceptible to slippage, try using this rubberband technique. I also used gel for helping the hair stay in place and added an additional rubberband where my hair ends. ⁣

Do any of y’all struggle with dry skin during the winter? ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I have combination skin, but with the cold winter weather and dry air, my skin has been on the dryer side lately. So I made a few adjustments to my winter skincare routine. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Here are some tips for keeping your skin hydrated during the winter:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫: when you have dry skin, finding a cleanser that’s gentle and adds moisture to your skin is crucial. Like the Pure Skin Face Cleanser. This face wash has a creamy, moisturizing consistency. Like a whipped texture that locks in moisture on your face while it works to cleanse. It is also fragrance free. ⁣⁣

2. 𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐚 𝐇𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦 : this helps to bind water to collagen, trapping moisture in the skin so that skin can appear plumper, dewier, and more hydrated. I really like the Hydroboost Hyalauranic Acid Serum from , it’s fragrance free and it provides long lasting hydration. ⁣⁣

3. 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞: try using moisturizers with occlusive or emollient based ingredients. I’m loving the Barrier + Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream, which is a deeply hydrating face cream with active lipids, peptides, small particle hyaluronic acid and rich shea butter for brightening, firming, and plumping. Also fragrance free. ⁣⁣

4. 𝗪𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 : Even in winter, harmful UV light can still stress your skin’s moisture barrier, which is vital for maintaining skin health and hydration. The current one I’m enjoying right now is The Beet Shield from . It’s lightweight, feels hydrating and doesn’t leave a white cast. ⁣⁣

5. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 : make sure you’re staying well hydrated throughout the day. Not taking in enough fluid can affect the appearance of your skin and also make it more susceptible to drying out.⁣⁣
