I’ve not been silent in my love and appreciation of the incredible band that is The Black Moods, who I feel are the best band to come out of the southwestern United States during this millennium. And you probably know of my great love for Chico, Jordan, and Josh, and the love that they reciprocate back to me.
With this knowledge, I am proud to present a documentary featuring the boys as they navigated the spirit crushing, career displacing nature of the COVID 19 pandemic and its devastating impact on the band, and the music industry in general.
The documentary also features vignettes by Danny Zelisko, Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, and on and on. I’m watching on AppleTV, but I understand it’s available on many other streaming services, including Amazon.
