These are two professions that didn’t quite work out 😳😆

Ohhhh Lawd! 🫣

This kids was something else…

As an adult he is even more of something else.

The funny thing is, as they look at these pictures I remember the feeling of being awkward. I remember the feeling of not fitting in, the feeling of trying to be accepted, and always trying to do what I was told so that I wouldn’t get in trouble.

I remember not being good at baseball, and having the coaches wife say she was going to chase me with a needle to make me run faster. I was more interested in playing with the ladybugs outfield than I was where the baseball was in the game. Be told I actually got hit by a ball in the face because I wasn’t paying attention. 😳😱

The doctor thing, I don’t know what that was about because I don’t like blood… But as I look at this picture, that kid knew how to dress sharp with that shirt !

I really wish that I could go back and talk to this little kid, and let him know that he doesn’t have to try and pretend to be anybody else. I wish that I could tell him that he is more than enough. I wish that I could tell him to be brave. I wish that I could tell him that he doesn’t have to fix everybody else’s problems .

The funny thing is even as an adult. I still have to remind myself of those same exact things.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but you are enough!

Stop managing other peoples insecurities !

Stop giving your million dollar dream to hundred dollar mindset!

The balls are spinning here in Phoenix. 🏀

This weekend is the WNBA All-Star game here in Phoenix. Our studio is located two blocks from footprint center and the convention center, which is where all the action is happening. .

You can feel the excitement and the energy throughout the town as new people are arriving and things ramp up and preparation for the game.

I am super excited that our studio hosted a production for some of the amazing people who are involved in the development of female athletes , the building of strong teams and the development of women in sports.

Grateful we were able to played a part in the movement of the WNBA, empowering women in sports and leadership and to serve our community here in Downtown Phoenix!

We at The Story Agency and House Of Story are committed to our community and helping the world embrace the truth of stories, its powers and the change it can make!

Where do you speak from when you share your story?

Do you tell your story from a space of being the victim, speaking only of the pain and/or struggle? Or, Do you tell your story with confidence because you own the journey to progress and you acknowledge the growth along the way!

Don’t miss the moment to pause and look back at the journey of what you have completed.

Take a moment to acknowledge each of the steps, regardless of their size.

Recognize that you have moved forward in so many ways and you continue to get stronger. You have healed and you continue to strengthen your focus to create more peace of mind in your life.

Pause as you climb, acknowledge the journey, thank the lesson and celebrate the progress!

For me there is nothing more rejuvenating and connecting than walking on the beach, feeling the grains of sands between my toes and the refresh temperature of the water. 🤩

The sounds of the waves are hypnotic, it allows my mind to settle and my heart to soar. 🥰

The smell of salt in the air is cleansing, it allows me to breathe deeper and with intention. 🤗

The ocean is my solitude and peace! 💙

Mission Accomplished!!

I was certain that it was going to be good… and I was ready to go to war!! 🥵

You know how sometimes you play 10,000 different scenarios on how something is going to go down and then…..

…it’s NOTHING LIKE any of those scenarios? 😨

It made me realize, that when I feel anxiety, it’s because I am focusing on the future. The future that I am unable to predict. With my focus on the “future”, I am likely to loose attention, energy and joy from what is happening in the present moment.

This weekend was a beautiful experience of letting go and allowing God to do his work. It was the freedom to be 100% MY TRUTH, even if it made others uncomfortable. It was a reminder of how important family is. Family you’re born into AND sometimes more importantly, the family YOU CHOOSE!

This weekend, I witnessed and felt some of the best parts of “Family”. I am grateful… soooo sooo grateful!

Here’s the other thing I was reminded:

When you raise your vibration, your light is pulling people forward, out of their darkness. Not everyone is going to adjust to the light the same. That does not mean you dim your light…

TURN YOUR LIGHT UP!!!

BECOME THE THERMOSTAT… YOU SET THE TEMPERATURE!

BE PRESENT IN THE MOMENT… IN EVERY MOMENT!!!

As you go about your week, watch for the gifts that show up. Look for them as they are all around. The more you take a second to say “thank you”… they will show up more often and faster than before.

To YOU who is reading this… you already knew this!

This is your permission slip to get stronger…

This is your hall pass to leap without all the answers and to trust the process!

This is tardy slip to prove that IT IS NOT TO LATE!!

The minute you OWN YOUR STORY everything truly does change. Everything gets STRONGER!!
