After years of wishing, I finally found a spot nearby me that does gluten free breakfast burritos that don’t fall apart! 🌯

They also have a ton of gluten free and vegan dessert options, plus coffees and teas.🧋

Thank you ! Check them out at University and Lindsay in Mesa 🌵

Wow, how is everyone surviving Maycember?? 😮‍💨

Tried Mister Pio Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken in Phoenix for the first time and I was so impressed. Everything on the menu is gluten free: roasted chicken, salad, fries, sauce. It’s simple and amazing!

I first tried Ike's Sandwiches when there was only one location in San Francisco, finding it by accident while staying with a friend. I walked there every day and waited in line because the shop was small and the sandwiches were popular, and this was right when I went gluten free years ago, so the options were slim.

Cut to nearly two decades later and Ike’s has over 100 locations in 8 states, including 12 in Arizona alone.

They used to be unlike any other restaurant, not charging extra for GF BREAD. But hey, I get it, restaurant margins are tight and honestly it’s worth the extra $3.

Major props to Ike’s for using local gluten free bakery Creations instead of taking the easy route with small frozen sliced bread. It honestly makes all the difference!

There are more than 800 sandwich creations you can make from their menu, but my favorites are [Name of the Girl I’m Dating] #9 and Going Home for Thanksgiving #4.

Also a bonus: they know the difference between an allergy and a dietary preference and act accordingly 😎

Have you tried Ike’s yet?

It was a bucket list experience to fly on a private jet, thanks to Jet Out! ✈️

We left Scottsdale at 9am, arrived in Napa by 11am, had lunch at Bistro DonGiovanni, visited Seven Apart winery, and we were back in Scottsdale by 7pm.

Jet Out is a membership-based private jet service that lets you book whole aircraft on demand, making private flying feel more accessible without owning a jet.

There’s a hidden lunch spot in Scottsdale where future chefs are running the kitchen!

The Artichoke Grill is open Wednesdays through Fridays by reservation, giving students time to prep and execute a full service. Guests can go all in with a three-course lunch or order à la carte, and there’s even a walk-up takeout counter with the same menu.

Dietary needs are taken seriously here. They ask for a heads-up in advance, and the team handled both a gluten allergy and my friend’s Celiac disease with real care and attention. That brisket mac n cheese was bomb! 🔥

Even better, any gratuity goes straight to student culinary scholarships, so every meal supports the next generation of chefs 🧑‍🍳

We only spent two days in Montreal but still managed to hit THREE dedicated bakeries! 🧁

I can’t believe how good the croissants are there, even the dairy free ones. I will definitely be visiting Montreal again just for the amazing croissants 🥐😆

I never expected Quebec City to be so gluten free! 🇨🇦 Nearly everywhere we explored, restaurants had GFs on menus or were asking if it was a preference or allergy. Here are some of the spots we dined at while there. Save in case you head to this charming, beautiful old city!

First time trying the fried chicken at in Mesa! The batter is GF and the chicken has a dedicated fryer. The beans, coleslaw, potato salad and collard greens are all GF too. I’d go back!

This is what it looks like when a bar actually thinks about gluten free! 🤓

OHSO Brewery just launched two new gluten free menus: one for weekend brunch and another for lunch and dinner.

Brunch options include deviled egg toast, skillets, bowls and more.

New on the lunch and dinner menu: hot honey salmon, spicy penne pasta and shrimp fried rice, among others. (Our faves were the Asian chicken salad and the pesto chicken penne!)

There are also several vegan options. Another bonus: a dedicated gluten free fryer for chips and French fries!

OHSO has locations in Gilbert, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Surprise. The patios are very dog friendly and it’s a great spot for groups! 🎉 OHSO Brewery

Everything you see here is GLUTEN FREE! 🤩

Sogno Toscano is bringing a Tuscan dream to Arcadia with its mix of wine bar, espresso bar, cafe and Italian market.

What began as a Tempe-based importer of oil, cheese and pasta for chefs around the country has grown into lifestyle cafes from New York to Los Angeles and now Phoenix.

The Arcadia location serves coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner alongside imported pasta (gluten free), pottery and glassware. The vibe feels like a quick trip to Italy, with wine by the glass, imported prosciutto, and schiacciate (crisp Italian sandwiches) on the menu.

Gluten-free options are a plenty here, with GF pasta, gnocchi, pizza crust, schiacciate, and bread available so you don’t have to miss out on anything. Oh and the zero proof drinks weren’t bad either!

Our meal was so delicious, I can’t wait to go back! ✨

Pedal Haus delivers classic sports bar comfort food with a dedicated menu of gluten-free options (and a dedicated fryer!).

Think burgers on GF buns and gluten-free pizza, all in a huge TV-filled, game-day kind of space. We loved the green chile burger, buffalo cauliflower wings and the new pineapple and prosciutto pizza.

They also offer three gluten-reduced beers, brewed with barley and treated with an enzyme to break down most of the gluten. Not safe for those with celiac disease, but an option for those who are gluten sensitive and can tolerate it.

There are locations in downtown Phoenix, downtown Tempe, downtown Chandler (and nontraditional / smaller locations in downtown Mesa and Sky Harbor Airport).

It’s a great spot to catch a game and also good for big groups! 🏈🏒🏀
