Looking for something new and fresh? Tired of the standard sushi options? Well, this place may be just what you were looking for. So many options to choose from and you can sample them before you choose. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of their products. Since we had never been to a poke place before, we were totally out of our element but the counter girl, Emily, was so helpful and gave us recommendations. A great first time experience. We’re looking forward to trying another variation the next time we come in.

They are a little hard to find but they are right next to Panda Express tucked in the corner.

Enjoying the gorgeous Arizona weather with a first time visit to a different farmers market. Met several new vendors - Mama’s Cold Brew, Ivy’s Hot Mustard and Outrageous Olive Oils, as well as some of our local favorites - Mamma Letizia’s and Doctor Hummus. Very impressed with the wide variety of vendors. Thoroughly enjoyed the fact that the whole market was shaded. Made it much easier to walk around and stay longer. Parking was a little difficult competing with the ArtFest across the street but what a great way to start the fall season, walking leisurely through this market. Don’t be misled if you google this farmers market. I goes from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM until May. It’s just across the street from the Mission Restaurant in Old Town. Definitely have to come back again.

Driving around and taking in the gorgeous day we drove by a "Now Open" sign along Central Avenue and decided to stop. Flights galore on their menu from mimosas, mules, appetizers and even desserts. This place just opened this week. Give them a shot. Nice atmosphere, ample parking in the back. Let them know Sonny Sunday Dish sent you.

If you happen to find yourself in downtown Salem OR, make sure to stop by this place- Capital Taproom. The crew enjoyed meeting the new owners and sampling a sweet pineapple cider (Pineapple Express) and a Czech pilsner (Czech Sheet). Great atmosphere, a sample tray punch card, 2oz and 4oz flight trays. Check this place out! You'll love it.

If you want a more lively and hands on experience try Angry Crab & BBQ. Several of the Sonny Sunday Dish Crew have been back time and time again to enjoy themselves with the different seafood and BBQ.

If your looking for something a little different with ambiance try Sonata's in Scottsdale. Several of the apps and entrees may not be the typical cuisine you find in the area with its Eastern European influences. There is typically music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The crew enjoyed the adventure and left with smiles.

This is one to check out. Wine, cheese, pastries and a menu for breakfast and lunch. The prices are very reasonable and the staff was so friendly.
