A shooting at a west Phoenix shopping center left two people hospitalized Tuesday night as authorities worked to identify and locate the suspect responsible.

The incident occurred at Desert Sky Mall near Thomas Road and 75th Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire and found two victims suffering from injuries.
