Hunting season is getting closer, so it’s time to put in the hours getting the property ready.

I genuinely enjoy the tractor work… until I look across the property into a clearing at what the big logging equipment can accomplish.

One hammer. Two faces. A lot of versatility.

Here’s a quick look at our 2½ lb. Rounding Hammer, hand forged from 1045 steel and hung on a hickory handle with a black walnut wedge.

The combination of a round and flat face gives you plenty of options for moving, shaping, and finishing hot steel at the anvil.
