A relaxed morning on the farm where little ones can play, explore, get a little messy, enjoy some sensory activities, meet the animals, and make new friends — while grown-ups get a chance to visit and connect, too. No pressure, no big agenda. Just a little farm time for little people.

We had such a fun day on the farm learning, exploring and enjoying the morning.

Today we learned how to spot the difference between a goat and a sheep.

We fed Earl.

We asked questions and found answers like what does a pig’s nose feel like?

We collected eggs

We planted seeds and learned about what a plant needs to grow.

Our hands-on farm education programs are designed around learning by doing — animals, agriculture, gardening, nature, homesteading and real farm life.

And even better, registration is now open for our upcoming Future Farmsteaders classes and Toddler Tuesday classes!

🌱 **Future Farmsteaders is OPEN for registration!**

If you have a child who is always asking questions, wants to get their hands dirty, loves animals, or would rather *do* something than sit and listen to a lesson… this program was made for them.

Future Farmsteaders is our hands-on farm education program where kids get to learn by actually being part of the farm.

We’ll explore animals, gardening, homesteading, agriculture, farm chores, food, and all the little things that make a working farmstead tick.

There’s no sitting at a desk for two hours.

There’s no perfect project that every child has to make.

There’s room to get curious, ask questions, get dirty, try something new, and build real skills along the way.

And honestly? Watching kids gain confidence because they can say **“I did that!”** is one of my favorite parts.

🌱 **Future Farmsteaders is designed for kids who love to learn through doing.**

We have options for different ages, and we’re also working toward making Future Farmsteaders a regular part of our monthly farm membership.
