Quiet and pleasant weather continues for the remainder of the holiday weekend, with no rain in the forecast and mild temperatures expected each day and overnight lows falling into the lower 50s and perhaps the upper 40s.

Good morning, West Michigan! FINALLY, we can post a forecast that is at least somewhat nice! We are exhausted over here from almost a week straight of hazardous weather coverage! How about you?

Anyway, today will be partly to mostly cloudy, less humid, cooler, and won't feature any severe weather chances. Highs today will be in the 70s, and other than a narrow band of rain showers that will work its way through the area from north to south, beginning late morning through early evening, it should be dry!

GO TO SLEEP: No active severe thunderstorms warnings across the area as the bulk of the shower and thunderstorm activity pushes south of the stateline. Still some leftover activity south of I-94, but additional severe weather is not expected at this point.

We've lost count at this point, but yet another severe weather threat exists overnight tonight! Damaging winds of around 40-70 MPH, a brief tornado, and some large hail are all possible. It is unclear whether or not storms will organize into a bowing segment and be severe or be less organized and therefore less potent. Have a way to receive warnings that can wake you up!
