🩵🩷 OUR BIGGEST ADVENTURE YET…
We’ve been home with Cade and Shaylee for a little while now, and these first few weeks have been some of the most special days of our lives.
Before they arrived, I thought I would probably share a lot more of this experience with all of you. But once we got home and realized just how quickly these first days were passing, we decided to slow down. The posts could wait. The pictures could wait. Dollywood could wait. We just wanted to be Mom and Dad and soak in this season while it was here, the snuggles, the feedings, the sleepy little faces, and yes, even those very long nights. ❤️
Because someday, probably much sooner than we realize, we’re going to wish we could have just one of these days back.
We also want to say thank you to all of you. The Adam’s Adventures community has become something incredibly special to our family, and the amount of love you’ve shown us throughout this journey has been overwhelming in the best possible way. Every comment, message, word of encouragement, thought and prayer has meant so much. Even when we haven’t had the chance to respond, please know we’ve felt your love and support, and we appreciate it more than we can put into words. 🥹
That’s also why we’re excited to eventually share a little bit of this new adventure with you. We’re just not completely sure what that will look like yet.
Being parents to twins is brand new to us, and so is figuring out how much of their lives we’re comfortable sharing publicly. We want you to get to know this new part of our family while also making sure some moments belong only to Cade, Shaylee and our family. We’re learning that balance as we go, and I think that’s okay.
For now, here are two little glimpses into what life has looked like lately, a very proud and very thankful dad holding each of his babies. 🩵🩷
And one day, when the time is right, there are going to be some pretty incredible adventures ahead. I can already picture their first trip to Dollywood, first ride on the Dollywood Express, first Christmas lights, first pumpkins at Harvest Festival, and countless other “firsts” that we don’t even know to dream about yet.
But we’re not in a hurry to get there.
The parks will be there. The adventures will be there. They’ll only be this little once.
So right now, we’re going to hold them a little longer, soak up these days and enjoy the adventure we waited so long to begin.
And when Cade and Shaylee are ready to start exploring this big world with us, we can’t wait to have our Adam’s Adventures family along for the journey. 🦋❤️
Thank you for loving our family. Thank you for praying for us. And thank you for being here for our greatest adventure yet. 🩵🩷
