If I could go tell that little girl who suffered so much trauma growing up that she would spend her adulthood riding horses and motorcycles everyday, she may have not made so many attempts on her own life.
That one day she will meet her dream horse and she would have the white Kawasaki Ninja she always wanted, at the SAME TIME, she may have not made her left arm a map of scar tissue.
When I was 17 and homeless I had someone who claimed to be a clairvoyant tell me one day I would have everything I ever dreamed of and more, that my story would inspire others and I would achieve not only my dreams but notoriety and respect from many for over coming my trauma and stoping at nothing to live the life I want on my terms. So much so that it would change my financial situation and I could be finally compensated for my struggle and rewarded for my survival.
When I was 20 I told him he had been wrong. I was almost angry with him for telling me at all and my belief in such things dwindled as life continued to get harder and I was still homeless... He never responded, turns out it was probably because he knew he didn't need to.
Here I am at 33, over a decade later and turns out I didn't give it enough time because now I look back at what he said and know that he in fact was not wrong. That he was very much right. I no longer have contact with this person anymore, but I wish i could tell him he was right. That being now that I believe he was truly a clairvoyant, he already knows he was right.
If you're reading this, and you're struggling, just don't give up. Sometimes things get worse before they get better. But they will get better. Work hard. Stay focused. Don't give up. Start small, build even if it's slow, even if it's 2 steps forward 1 step back just keep going and before you know it a decade will go by and you won't even recognize yourself or your life anymore! (In a good way) ❤️
