How Will Dollywood Honor Dolly Parton?

We were invited to Dollywood as media to hear the full announcement about how the park will honor Dolly’s incredible legacy. It was emotional, beautiful, and full of surprises — from the chapel updates to Wildwood Grove additions, new stained glass, the Dream Maker, and a touching “Love Letter to Dolly” tribute.

Dolly’s influence runs deep in the Smokies, and this announcement shows just how much her spirit will continue to guide the park for generations.

Dollywood has released these renderings of some additions coming to Dollywood. New bridge/additions going into the Dolly Parton Experience area and a waterfall is being added at the Thomas F Chapel. The guitar will be placed at the base of the waterfall.

This are great additions to honor our Dreamer-in-Chief, Dolly Parton.

We Rode River Rampage for 2 STRAIGHT HOURS at Dollywood 🌊

Theme Park Vision invited us to the 2-hour River Rampage Marathon — 9am to 11am, one goal: ride as many times as humanly (and soggily) possible.

Our fellow creators showed up in full force — some rode with us lap after lap, and the smart ones stayed dry on the water cannons... except they made SURE none of us stayed dry either. Mission accomplished, guys. 😅

Huge thanks to Theme Park Vision and to every creator who showed up to get soaked with us.
