As "The Doctor of Professional Wrestling", I’ve spent years studying, living, and breathing this sport—not just inside the ring, but in the way it’s told, remembered, and passed down. And for me, one of the greatest storytellers was Bob Caudle.
I grew up with Bob’s voice guiding me through the world of professional wrestling. His calm authority, his respect for the athletes, and his ability to make every match feel important left a mark on me that never faded. Long before I ever held a microphone, Bob taught me—without ever knowing it—what it meant to honor the sport and the fans with your words.
He wasn’t flashy. He didn’t need to be. Bob Caudle was steady, genuine, and deeply connected to the wrestling he called. That influence shaped me both as a fan and later as a commentator. When I step behind the desk, I carry a piece of his legacy with me.
Today, I mourn his passing, but I also celebrate the gift he gave us: a voice that elevated wrestling, a professionalism that set the standard, and a legacy that will echo for generations.
Thank you, Bob. For the lessons, the memories, and the inspiration. Rest easy, sir—you’ll always be part of my story.
