Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day
Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. Veterans Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms and to express our deepest gratitude.
I want to take a moment to personally recognize and honor the incredible veterans in my own family:
My dad, Stephen J. Kucka Jr.
My grandfathers, Stephen J. Kucka and Woodrow Schonhoff
My uncle, Matt Kucka
Each of them answered the call to serve, and their commitment to our nation inspires me every day. Their stories remind us that freedom is never free—it is earned through service, sacrifice, and love of country.
To all veterans in Livingston County and beyond: thank you. Your bravery and dedication make our communities stronger and our future brighter.
