We wandered around Texas, had a quick trip to North Carolina for work and are now settled in for a few nights in Louisiana. Our wandering is almost over for this adventure. Stay tuned for what is to come!

Wow! We have been so busy wandering. Since our trip to Kentucky, we've visited Missouri, Florida (two times via flight),Arkansas, and Texas. We also went to Atlanta for MJ at the Fox (it was amazing!!!). Here are some of our wandering memories (as we are currently sitting at Houston-Hobby on our way to the North Carolina Music Educators Conference)! The only bad thing this fall, Braves baseball. Wait til next season!

We left Alabama yesterday and wandered into Kentucky. We have lots of work to do while here, but hope to find some time to do some sightseeing (aka bourbon tasting). No fall leaves yet, but it was 62 degrees inside our motorhome when we woke up today! The high today is 75 degrees. Nearly perfect!!! Hope to find a place to sit and work outside later when it is a little warmer.

We love bridges! They connect so many places to each other. It feels like life is also filled with bridges. We encountered these bridges while in the Gettysburg area. Both of these bridges were built so very long ago. Can you imagine the impact they played during the Civil War until they were closed to automobile traffic? I bet a lot of boots marched across both of these bridges. We cannot wait to cross the next bridge and see where we land!

We wandered via plane this week for a quick birthday trip. Our original flight was diverted from Las Vegas to Ontario, California. We landed and had to wait a while to even get to our gate (such a small airport that they didn't have any ground crew there when we landed). We got to the gate and needed to refuel. The pilot also timed out and nearest pilot was in LA. We had booked the entire trip on points. I called our hotel in LAS and they refunded our points. We used fewer points and booked a room. Greg booked us a compact car for $50 while I changed our return flight. We got to the car counter and received a free upgrade! Not a bad adventure! Sorry we missed Vegas, but we had a great time in San Bernardino!

Have you heard this story? We were staying at the first Margaritaville RV Resort at Lake Lanier in Georgia. If you've heard this story, please skip to the end. We were there for a one night stay in the off season. It looks like a great place for summer trips. Sorry. Where was I? Oh, that's right. We were loading our car onto our tow dolly (two wheels up and two on the ground). It was a rainy, icky morning. The loading area was uphill. Greg was standing between the RV, the motorcycle lift, and the front of the dolly directing. The first attempt resulted in the car sliding off the dolly. He encouraged me to back up more and GO! I went... Right over the front of the dolly where he became trapped with the car on top of him and the dolly handle inside his leg. The Georgia State Patrol came. He informed them I had just taken out an accidental death policy on him (I had!). He was laughing and smiling and I was a wreck. Oh I was trapped inside the car. I climbed out of the window. I probably needed the O2 more than he did. The local fire department came with a boatload of air bags. They managed to life the car and get it back on the right side of the dolly (free of charge!). By this point the Margaritaville staff showed up. The police are ready to take me to jail, but decided it was maybe an accident. I went to the ER and picked up Greg minus the tow dolly. Oh! They had to cut the dolly handle off to transport it and him to the hospital. The last conversation I had was with the Margaritaville people. I told them I owned the rights to this story, but Jimmy could call me. I just knew he could turn it into a hit... Have you heard this song? Nope. He never called me. I kept waiting and answering every unknown number. I guess it is true what he sang- "If the phone doesn't ring, it's me." Now next time you see Greg, please ask him to show you the scar on his leg where I tried unsuccessfully to kill him. RIP Jimmy Buffett

We wandered around Georgia for a few weeks, but are now safely tucked away in Alabama for most of September. Our Georgia adventures included almost no internet (thanks to family for letting us come and work off of your wifi for most of our stay!), and no water for two weeks. Family again stepped in with lots of showers and laundry. Fortunately our water tank on the bus was full. We are happy to be far away from hurricanes and to have both great internet AND water! Stay safe Florida/Georgia family and friends!

We wandered 200+ miles yesterday. Today, we will wander @ 200 more. Headed to Pine Mountain RV Resort in Pine Mountain, GA! Good to be rolling again!

Packing up the RV after sitting in the same place for over a year is similar to packing a home to move. The boys are helping as Greg arranges and rearranges all of our spaces to hold more "stuff!"

Hi friends! Our tour season is going to wrap up in the next six weeks. Prepare for our wandering to begin again in July! We hope to have some videos, reviews, and more to share with you all again soon. We've missed our RVing adventures since last April, but we have really had some amazing trips with Superior. It has been a great year for us and we are excited to start rolling with the coach again soon!

Wow! We wandered from the Keys back to Central Florida for tour season. We visited: Orlando, Pigeon Forge, Atlanta, Nashville, Williamsburg, Charlotte, Washington DC, Virginia Beach, and more. Those were all Superior trips. We also visited Pensacola for a dance recital, Raleigh for a wedding, and Georgia to move our stuff out of a paid storage and into a free space (thanks Kathleen and Dad)! We also wandered to Cayman Brac for some scuba diving! We will try to post more updates here about our wanderings. It has been a crazy few months!
