Rim Country Overland Hey, I’m Tony, the guy behind Rim Country Overland. This whole thing started with a truck, a trail, and a need to disconnect.

Arizona-based solo overlander sharing honest gear reviews, rig builds, trail adventures, camp life, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way.

The interior buildout is officially done…until I figure out what else I want to do that is ‼️

It all started with the addition of the Xtrusion Overland XO.SKLTN. Then, I gutted the inside and started completely over. It was a longer project than I had anticipated , but I could t be happier with how it turned out.

It’s been over 3 months since I’ve been on a dirt road and I’m jonesing to get back out there.

Phase 1 of the interior buildout for the XO.SKLTN is just about wrapped up.

Couldn’t be happier with how this is coming together. Cleaner, more room than the old setup, way more versatile and more places to mount my gear than I know what to do with.

And this is still just the foundation.

So much more to come. 👊

Starting to look like a proper setup. 🔥

The XO.SKLTN is finally getting to the point where I can see the build I’ve had in my head starting to come together.

Lighting and electrical are dialed in, the foundation for the interior is underway, and there’s still a whole lot more coming.

Definitely enjoying this part of the build.

With all the time I’ve spent building the rig lately, it’s been way too long since I’ve been out.

The pull of a dirt road is getting harder to ignore.
