Rim Country Overland

Rim Country Overland Hey, I’m Tony, the guy behind Rim Country Overland. This whole thing started with a truck, a trail, and a need to disconnect.

Arizona-based solo overlander sharing honest gear reviews, rig builds, trail adventures, camp life, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way.

Just one guy chasing freedom, dirt roads, and the next great view. I film, edit, and explore from behind the wheel of my 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X—learning as I go and sharing what works (and what doesn’t). Rim Country Overland is my way of building something real—and bringing others along for the ride.

Not every trail is epic.

Some are easy. Some test your rig. Some are just miles of rocks that beat you up all day and test your patience.

But every trail leads somewhere. Every trail is part of the adventure. And every now and then, one rewards you with views that make every mile worth it.

I am LOVING the new XO.SKLTN!It’s a beast to assemble but SO worth it.

Next trip out will be in an almost completely different setup.

But no matter what changes on the truck, this part probably won’t.

Rolling into camp, pulling out a chair, finding a view, and just sitting there for a few minutes while the noise of everyday life fades into the background.
