Ride or Dive

Ride or Dive I had reached a weight that was unsustainable and decided it was time for a change. The first change was to begin cycling for weight loss.

I fell in love with the sport. I recently completed my first 50 mile event and have some big plans in the future. Next was a close friend that was doing search and recovery diving. I decided that I needed to help in some fashion. So I went out and became an open water diver. This quickly became another passion of mine. This channel is a way to share my experiences with cycling and scuba. Thus, the creation of Ride or Dive

Right now, there is a tragic situation unfolding in Texas, and while we wish more than anything that we could be there to help, we are unable to assist at this time.

But we are comforted knowing that there are incredible people on the ground making a difference. Our amazing friend Jake Stovall and his teams at Gulf SAR are there, doing what they do best — serving families with compassion, dedication, and relentless determination.

Jake is an absolutely incredible human being, and Gulf SAR is truly one of the best teams out there. They embody what it means to give selflessly and to never give up hope.

Back at Big Sugar in Bentonville, AR!
Eric took off this morning around 7:30am! During this event last year, Eric encountered mechanical failure at mile 6 and was unable to compete.
This year, Chaos Divers, Cooper's Amputee Lifestyle, and Depths of History are currently waiting for him at the first check point! This is the first aid station and it’s 38 miles into the 104 mile race!
We’re all excited to see him and get a progress update from him!

This seems like a bad idea that is going to be a lot of fun!!!!

A recent dive with Chaos Divers and Depths of History at Mermet Spring. As well as all of us, my brother-in-law William, and Colston from Depths of History were able to do try scuba. Suffice it to say, I expect they will both get certified in the near future!!

I had an amazing time at the Criterium at the Columns. What a fun event.
