Miles went to the bank this morning with Chris. Apparently we loaned him $300 for this new endeavor. We'll find out if it's successful soon.

"I'm looking for silver in these rolls, to put it simply...When I get enough, I'll sell it at the coin store. The price of silver is high right now. Each nickel is worth 2 or 3 dollars. I mean, I might find a few buffalo nickels, too.

Anyway, I'm just doing a test run to see if it's profitable. I'll scale it up, if it is."

According to usda.gov, an average of 41.7 MILLION people received SNAP benefits every month. Close to 7 million pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and their children receive WIC benefits.

And these most vulnerable community members are at risk of going without in November because of the government shutdown. If you have the means, please consider donating to Feeding America (link in comments) to help fill the gap.

No one should go hungry, and by pooling our resources, can help make a difference in the lives of millions of food insecure neighbors.
