We're thrilled to welcome Laura Kleemook to the GBP family with her timely and important children's series "Welcome to Screenville." Drawing from her extensive experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and school counselor, Laura brings vital digital safety lessons to young readers through engaging storytelling. Her debut picture book "Tessa Teaches Technology Safety" helps children navigate the complex world of screens and online interactions with practical advice wrapped in an accessible narrative. Complete with classroom activities and parent resources, this book marks the beginning of an essential series for today's digital generation.

Laura brings over 16 years of experience working with students and families in western Pennsylvania, where she currently serves as an Act 89 Non-public School Counselor and maintains a private therapy practice. A graduate of St. Bonaventure University and Slippery Rock University, she holds degrees in English, Psychology, and School Counseling. When not writing or counseling, Laura enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with her husband, two sons, their dog, and their flock of 16 chickens at their home in western Pennsylvania.
