This is a quick tour of the Starbucks area in the Barnes & Noble store in Robinson Township. I also felt it was important to show you that I am not always in a wheelchair. My wheelchair is used to conserve energy during a long outing so that I’m not miserable from walking or standing for long periods of time.

Real talk…
Today I cleaned and organized my pantry. It took about an hour. I then made myself some lunch and folded some towels that were in the laundry. I am exhausted. But, you’ll say, that’s not a whole lot. Well, for somebody who has an autoimmune disease, it most certainly is. When my body tells me that it is tired, I listen to it. It took me so many years to understand that my body needs as much rest as it is asking for. I haven’t even showered yet, because that takes so much energy. If you have never heard of the “spoon theory”, I have linked it to the bottom of this post.
I used all my spoons today.

Super quick video from the Apple Store inside South Hills Village mall. As I stated in the video, Apple does everything right. The large entrance and the appropriate height tables make for an easy experience when you’re inside. The aisles are large and the store is very welcoming.
