2 years ago I was scrolling on TikTok when I stumble upon this guy saying “I wanna marry someone from TikTok!”He said “I think people take life too seriously and I’m here to prove that it ain’t that deep. Life’s a game, let’s break some norms.”

I always told my friends & family the only way I was gonna get married was if I’m in a bikini & cowboy hat in Vegas or something. I never wanted a traditional wedding, so when I saw this video I knew this opportunity was made for me.

I put together an “audition” video & hit post.

Suddenly, The videos were going VIRAL!

That week I got a FaceTime from Gunnar saying he’s coming to propose to me. I was nervous!

2 weeks later I picked him up in my ambulance and we drove across the country together.

Our road trip was nothing but stressful as we got caught in the infamous 2021 Texas ice storm where there were huge car pile ups & power outages. Plus, Living with someone you don’t know in 90 square feet for a week is well…. Interesting 😅

We made it to Vegas finally🤩

Wedding day came and it all blew by so fast! (As literally everyone who’s ever got married says it does.)

We planned on getting divorced a week after the wedding but it turns out, it wasn’t gonna be that easy 😅 so we decided to stay married platonically.

Once the whole shabang was over we finally got a day or two to relax. I think this small time we had together somehow changed everything. 

Gunnar had to fly back home for a job but we both felt like our time together wasn’t over. So I invited him back out to stay in the ambulance with me.

EVERYONE told us they knew we were gonna fall in love but we didn’t believe them.

We traveled and lived together platonically for the next ~3 months and then… eventually started to catch feels… 🙈

The next 2 years were full of adventures together! We traveled all over the USA and even built a second tiny home together. We almost never left each other's sides.

Today is our 2 year anniversary. I simply wouldn’t trade it for the world 🥹🫶🏻

🌪There’s been a lot of changes in our hobbies recently.

For example,

🥏 Gunnar has been really into disc golf! We’ve gone around to multiple courses and he’s actually REALLY good for never have doing it before!!

🎙 Danielle has been toying with the idea of hosting a podcast. It’s pretty intimidating and she’s not sure if she’s gonna go full force with it yet, so not much word yet… but it’s exciting!
