But, let me show you how it all began and how I got “here.”

I started in sales at the New Pittsburgh Courier then I landed a job at the top public relations in Pittsburgh called Ketchum Public Relations. Shout out to Education & Financial Aid Specialist Anthony Johnson who heard I was interested in the field of communications and arranged a meeting with the President Jerry Voros!

Fast Forward – I land a position at radio station WAMO106 Jamz as the Director of Marketing. Although I was still behind the scenes, I was on the front lines talking to our listening audience, to crowds before a concert, and occasionally I would fill in for the personalities on-air or on location.

Working at the radio station made me very uncomfortable because it kept forcing me from out behind the shadows! 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆!

But when I started to see that people were receptive to my approach to interviewing or hosting an event, I knew that this was ONE of the things I was meant to do! I knew I needed to keep going and keep getting better!

𝗧𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, don’t allow your personality trait stop you from pursuing your dreams/goals!

I’m excited and honored to share that I will be the 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 for the Inaugural 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘆𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿, Monday, June 13 at Olde Stonewall Golf Course, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania!

Monies raised will benefit Jasmine Nyree Campus and the programs and services the organization will offer to individuals with special needs and marginalized families in Sheraden and the city of Pittsburgh.

Thank you Tiffany Huff-Strothers and the When She Thrives organization for inviting me to Host and serve as “The Art of Thriving” event’s Auctioneer. I had an absolute blast serving in that capacity! 😊

And the night wouldn’t have been a success with out the courage of the phenomenal Authors of “Scenes From a Single Mom” they really helped bring the pieces to life. I enjoyed meeting all of the ladies!
