We may not have taken home Best Short Film, but receiving our Official Selection Plaque from the Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival still means the world to us.

Until We Meet Again was never about the awards — it was about telling a story that mattered. A story born from grief, love, and resilience. To have it screened alongside so many powerful voices in our city’s indie film community was already a win in our book.

Thank you to the amazing cast and crew who helped bring this vision to life, and to everyone who showed up, supported, and believed in the story. This is only the beginning. More festivals, more stories, more reasons to keep pulling cinema forward. 🎬❤️

Juneteenth marks the true beginning of liberation in America — not just the end of slavery, but the enduring spirit of a people who refused to be silenced. At Pullie Productions, we believe in telling stories that matter — and that means uplifting voices, remembering history, and pulling cinema forward.

This day is a reminder that freedom is ongoing, and so is our commitment to justice, equality, and authentic representation in film.

Two years ago, Pullie Productions was born from a simple yet powerful belief — that filmmaking should be a space where people feel safe, valued, and inspired. A space free from toxicity, ego, and gatekeeping. A space where stories matter — especially the ones that are often overlooked or untold.

Since then, we’ve created films that reflect not only our artistic voices but our shared humanity. We’ve laughed through long nights, pushed through technical challenges, and stood in the rain for the perfect shot — all for the love of storytelling.

But more importantly, we’ve built something bigger than just films. We’ve built community — a crew of artists, actors, and creatives who lift each other up, who care more about kindness than clout, and who believe in the power of film to heal, connect, and inspire.

We’re still standing strong. Still growing. Still creating. From our first short film to festival premieres and sleepless 48 Hour Film Projects, every step has been a reminder of why we do this: to make something that matters.

To every single person who’s ever been part of a shoot, cast member, crew member, who offered a word of encouragement, or believed in what we stand for — thank you. You are part of this journey. You are part of this legacy.

Here’s to two years of passion, purpose, and pushing boundaries — and to many more stories ahead. We’re just getting started. 💙💜

At the end of the Until We Meet Again Q&A, Director Darrel Pullie revealed the title our new first potential feature film for 2026, The Witness!

“After the murder of his brother, a young autistic man is pulled into a dangerous web of corruption and betrayal inside a criminal enterprise operating under the city’s nose. With the help of a determined detective, he not only uncovers the truth-but also discovers his own strength and purpose.”

It’ll all be shot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! 📌

🎬 Favorite Filming Location Spotlight 🎬

Out of all the incredible locations we had the privilege of filming in for Until We Meet Again, one of our absolute favorites was the legendary The Manor Theatre in Squirrel Hill.

This iconic venue has stood strong for over a century and remains one of Pittsburgh’s most beloved historical landmarks. It’s not just a theater—it’s a piece of the city’s soul. What better place to bring our story to life?

We’re beyond grateful to the amazing staff and especially Rick Stern, the owner, for welcoming us into this space and helping make the magic happen. ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that Until We Meet Again has been officially accepted into the 2025 Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival!

🗓️ Date: Friday, June 20, 2025
📍 Venue: The Parkway Theater – 644 Broadway Ave, McKees Rocks, PA 15136

This is our first festival selection for the film — and the first of many. We’re incredibly proud of the talented cast, dedicated crew, and everyone who poured their hearts into this story. This screening is especially meaningful, as the film was created in loving memory of Joshua — a true friend, brother, and inspiration behind the project.

We’re also preparing to submit the film to additional festivals across the country, including those affiliated with the Academy Awards.
