Our new video installation was on view for the first time at the Vanka Block Party this past Sunday! The piece was commissioned by as part of their Gift to America 2.0 initiative. It was such an honor to be included with such talented artists and to have the work premiere alongside Vanka’s original murals. A big thank you to all who came out and to for being a part of this project! ❤️🇵🇸

Our new video installation will be on view for the first time at the Vanka Block Party next week! The piece, titled “Khaled Misplaces a Photograph of His Mother’s House in Nablus” is a looped experimental dual-channel video installation exploring the liminality of displacement and is inspired by the Maxo Vanka murals. The Block Party will also feature new works by the incredible .cuellar.shaffer and — all made possible by ’s Gift to America 2.0 Artist Commission. Join us for a day of art, food, and community! 💛

The Vanka Block Party is a free public event and will take place in & around the St Nicholas Croatian Church in Millvale on Sunday, April 27 from 12-4.
