Community minded DIY Label and coffee vendor in PGH, Penna. Don't just do it yourself, do it together. Lemon Tree Records is a DIY label based in Central PA.

Our goal is to help bands that are hardworking, dedicated, and love what they do. We also aim to help foster a sense of community in the DIY punk scene. We are looking to help our bands by partnering with local artists and vendors in order to produce and sell vinyl (12" LPs and 7" EPs), CDs, Tapes, and other Merch (such as shirts. pins, stickers, etc.). Submissions:
We don't sign bands to contract

s because contracts are lame and we don't want to potentially stop bands from being open to other opportunities that may arise for them. But also typing up a contract sounds like a lot of work and I'm just not into it. However, if your band has a good attitude, works hard, and I like the sounds that you make with your instruments then I would love for you to be a part of our roster! If you want to be a part of the Lemon Tree roster just send an email to [email protected] with a bio of your band and at least two songs (preferably in mp3 format, but WAV works as well.)

Our cute little countertop may seem a bit chaotic, but believe me when I saw that everything you see on our counter is both intentional and filled with love. The next time you stop in for a VSC Cold Brew or an iced Brown Sugar Maple Oat Latte, feel free to ask us about Gerald the Rubber Chicken, the 3d printed Royals mascot, the Mohawk Rubber Ducky, the Calendar that Bobby always forgets to update, the skunk made from bottle caps that were collected to make benches at Rainbow Raccoon Park, the baseball pierogi, the Pride stickers from Painted Dog Designs or the other Pride stickers from the insanely talented , or of course Abe Simpson (who has been celebrating every lemonade purchase right along with us since our first day in the new spot at the Moose.)

I guess what I’m saying is, come hang out! We’re open 8-2 Tuesday through Friday and 10-2 on Saturdays.

Please don’t mind the construction in our side lot over the coming weeks. We’re getting a solar garden patio and we’re so stoked!! See the most recent post from for a much more in-depth explanation of the project. We can’t wait to share even more of this space with yinz! Especially all yinz with pups!

Hey Millvale! How’s everyone feeling after MMF? Hope yinz all had a blast like we did, and I’m sure you’re stoked to have your parking spots back. Shoutout to the volunteers who keep our community looking so clean & pretty after big events like that. I think we all know we’ve got something really special here in our little river town.

If you’re looking to refuel after the big weekend, we will be up and running for our normal hours this week!

If you know the three of us, you know that we pride ourselves on getting more out of less. And we have been doing that since we popped up our first folding table in 2021. We got this little white espresso machine that had quickly outgrown to kick off our dream of opening a coffee shop in Millvale. It went with us from our times setting up in GAP Park for , and popping up a folding table in the parking lot of . To our full time set up inside of . To our time now, sharing the Millvale Food & Energy Hub with & .

But now, thanks to the community, (special shoutout to Josh & Raul who installed everything), and all of yinz, we were able to upgrade our coffee equipment.

Please bear with us as we get acquainted with our new setup. We’ll be closed Tuesday & Wednesday this week. But stop by on Thursday or Friday and try a drink so we can play with our new toys!

Anyone else ever go to sh*tty diners in their hometown late at night with their friends and only order the bottomless coffee with either hotcakes or gravy fries (depending on the mood) and then proceed to sit there for a few hours talking about things that felt super important at the time even though you knew that nobody outside of your table at the sh*tty diner would care or could even really comprehend, all while flipping the little pre-packaged creamers at the table? If so, we see you and we have ibuprofen for your back pain if you need it. If not, we are sorry that the world has failed you so deeply. But either way, this is something you can do at Lemon Tree now! Just not at night, only really between the hours of 8am and 2pm. And we don’t have gravy fries or hotcakes, but we do have housemade baked goods and nourishing foods that are genuinely made with love. Like getting a home cooked meal from your Pennsylvania Dutch Grandma, and we mostly don’t suck to be around. So that’s a win!

You could call this space the coffee shop, a coworking space, a community center, your home away from home, or really any number of things. But if you haven’t gotten to experience the space yet, we highly recommend you come in and check it out. We’ve got great coffee (roasted locally by Steel Cup Coffee), delicious food made in-house, and immaculate vibes. We’re open:
