A man who died after being shot multiple times on Route 48 in White Oak was targeted by members of a rival motorcycle club in retaliation for his alleged role in a fight in Washington County, Allegheny County prosecutors said.

Twin Rivers Elementary School is being dismissed early today (Nov. 18) due to a water main break.

All students will be provided lunch prior to dismissal.

The following procedures will be followed to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal, Superintendent Donald MacFann announced:

1. If a parent/guardian is unable to receive their child due to the early dismissal, they must contact the school to make alternative arrangements.
2. Students will return to their homerooms and then be dismissed to their buses, vans, parents/guardians, or student vehicles, following the normal dismissal process.
3. Building principals will send additional updates via School Messenger if needed.
4. Any students who remain in the district after dismissal will remain at Twin Rivers Elementary.

"The safety and well-being of our students remains our highest priority. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or building principal," MacFann said.
