Having midterms / finals the week after you get back from a long holiday break isn't ideal. There's a lot of knowledge that can get lost over two-and-a-half weeks! But don't worry -- we've got you! We will be open every day over the next few weeks except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! So if your high schooler -- especially those in AP Bio, Chem, or Calculus -- needs review sessions over the break, just let us know and we'll get them in.

Our business is always expanding, which means we are always adding incredible tutors to our team! Currently we are searching for a physics tutor (AP, Honors, and academic) to work with students at our center on Fort Couch Road. Hours are super flexible and dictated by you, pay is excellent, and the entire facility is basically a ray of sunshine☀️. Chess master Jack is BACK for the holidays and is excited to run a couple of mini-chess clubs at AVA at the end of December and beginning of January! Recommended for ages 10-14 (but we don't card anyone😄). Register your child here:

This is the most popular time for high school juniors to take the exam, and locations actually do fill up so register soon. SO, remember in 2024 when we had the fantastic Michael Fimognari in to teach a week-long cinematography class at AVA? His new movie, Jingle Bell Heist, is killing it on Netflix right now and we couldn’t be happier for him! (Michael is the Director, Executive Producer, and Director of Photography on this film 😳.) We are so fortunate to be able to bring world-class talent to AVA to inspire and educate our students! 🎄 🎥
