Jan Kurth's new novel, the Market Women of Diamond Square, is now available on Amazon for Kindle pre-orders. If you want a printed copy, that will be out soon, too. It is pretty exciting. East Enders, the parent company of Print is stepping into publishing (yeah, that is us, too). This is our first book, next we are looking to publish a book of Jan's "Whatever Happened to..." columns next.

Coming to the end of Journalism Awards season, Print's coverage has won three first place awards the Keystone Professional Media contest, for investigative reporting, headline writing (which includes one of my favorites "Legislature puts the breaks on E-scooters"), and Excellence in reporting on Diversity-Equity and Inclusion, and a second place for ongoing coverage.

In the Golden Quills we took home two top prizes for Education reporting and Public Affairs/Politics/Government Series.
