Post 2 of 2. Continued update on our ice cream shop & the construction of the new space. The space was completely gutted, took out the floor, ceiling, bathrooms, & walls. Had to cut a huge section out of the floor to lay the plumbing. That took longer because there was bedrock underneath. The old linoleum tile was removed, new walls built & drywalled with FRP in the food prep areas. The floor was ground smooth & epoxy applied. New drop ceiling is going in, cabinets are being built, the rest of the floor will be vinyl plank, & all of our equipment has been purchased and will be added soon. We are expecting to open in March & will likely host/support some car cruises in the future. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area & like great ice cream, check us out
